The activities of Kyabgön Phakchok Rinpoche

This August, Kyabgön Phakchok Rinpoche’s activities included profound offerings to treasure sites and to sangha in Tibet. In Nepal, our monks completed the Ngensong Dongdruk puja, the third of the six annual pujas carefully selected by Phakchok Rinpoche. The Ngensong Dongdruk puja is a powerful method for purification and especially for guiding the deceased.
Tulku Migmar Tsering has been guiding our Singaporean sangha during Ghost Month, and has especially focuses on practices to benefit beings of the lower realms. Moreover, in Malaysia, Drupla Sonam Tsering gave teachings and led the Malaysian sangha in pujas conducted in the Guru Rinpoche Lhakang, Putra Heights, Malaysia.
We are also happy to announce that the Sadhana Ritual Course 2019 is now available for online registration through the Samye website. And, we are happy to share updates about Radically Happy and our Tibetan Medicine doctors in the newsletter below.
Finally, we would like to remind you of our monthly supporter campaign. Kyabgön Phakchok Rinpoche's Activities
Kyabgön Phakchok Rinpoche will have statues of Guru Rinpoche placed at 15 sacred treasure sites where termas were hidden. In this past week, the first statue was offered at É Vihara in Patan, where the Lotus Born Guru stayed for three months, concealed termas, and laid the foundation for the Vajrayana to flourish in Nepal. The next 14 statues will be placed in Tibet at 14 sites where Chokgyur Lingpa revealed termas. Six of the statues are now being brought to Tibet.

Phakchok Rinpoche’s paternal lineage of Tsangsar includes many great lamas from the Barom Kagyu lineage, which was established by Dharma Wangchuk, a disciple of Gampopa.

From 10 to 12 August, 2019, Drupla Sonam Tsering and Lama Sangye presided over the Korwa Dongtruk Puja in the Guru Rinpoche Lhakang, Putra Heights, Malaysia. This Puja aims to assist one in developing gratitude for one’s parents and ancestors in this and past uncountable lifetimes. During this Puja one can also transfer merits to departed loved ones and all other beings. Drupla also benefited the local Sangha in turning the wheel of Dharma by teaching on the following topics: Harmony in Dharma Groups -What are Samayas & How to keep them, and Introduction to Meditation. Drupla’s visit concluded with the auspicious Lama Norla Puja. Many practitioners were able recharge the blessings of their wealth vases and accumulate merit at the Guru Rinpoche Lhakang.

One Million Recitations of the Lotus Dakini—Kurukullé or Pema Khandro—Mantra and One Hundred-Thousand Fire Pujas
from The Seven Cycles of Profundity
October 17th–23rd, 2019  Seven days of puja concluding on the Dakini Day of the 8th month of the Tibetan calendar.
The seven-day puja is held in the sacred Vajravarahi forest surrounding a shrine blessed by Vajravarahi. Since the brilliant red dakini Kurukullé belongs to the family of Vajravarahi and Arya Tara, this special circumstance further enhances the power of the puja.
Kurukullé is a dakini renowned for her power to magnetize. Through her practice the practitioners magnetize all favorable circumstances: teachers, teachings, the ability to understand and engage with the teachings, wealth, prosperity, for the benefit of the Dharma and sentient beings, and ultimately the nature of mind.
