The activities of Kyabgön Phakchok Rinpoche

This month Kyabgön Phakchok Rinpoche’s teaching activity was primarily focused in the East. Rinpoche offered Dharma programs in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and then joined Kyabje Chokyi Nyima Rinpoche in presiding over the annual Ngakso Drubchen, “Ocean of Amrita Mantric-mending” in Nepal. Meanwhile, in California, Tulku Migmar Tsering led a retreat and Dharma programs for our Vietnamese sangha there.
In this issue of the Dakini Day Digest, you will find updates from Nekhor, Akara and Lhasey Lotsawa – including three new prayer translations from the Lhasey Lotsawa team. We also have added information on our Tibetan medicine clinic Sowa Rigpa Medical & Research Center, the 10th annual Sādhana Ritual course in Kathmandu, and the Annual Vajravarahi Pūjā Schedule. Further details on the benefits of the Annual Vajavarahi Pūjās as well as how to make offerings will be available soon on the Samye Website.

Lotus Essence Tantra pendant
This pendant contains the entire root text of the Lotus Essence Tantra, a treasure text revealed by Chokgyur Lingpa, as part of a popular cycle of teachings known as The Guru’s Heart Practice, Dispeller of All Obstacles (Tukdrub Barchey Künsel). It contains the essence of all teachings, particularly the path of secret mantra. Extremely concise, yet containing all the essential points of Vajrayana, it elucidates the natural state of phenomena—emptiness, mahamudra and the great perfection. This short, essential tantra contains profound teachings and is of extraordinary blessings.

Lhasey Lotsawa Translations and Publications
In anticipation of our new website, we are changing practice text formats. We hope you find this new A5 booklet format easier to use and pleasant to the eyes. We uploaded a few new translations to our website in the new format:
A short aspiration prayer made to Padmasambhava by his close disciples, extracted from the Lamrim Yeshe Nyingpo, Guru Rinpoche’s heart quintessence.
- Two Short verses of offering and aspiration to the Dharma protectors. These are regularly chanted by the monks and nuns of Ka-Nying Shedrup Ling during Dharma protector petition offerings (solkha). The first is chanted as an offering verse (for the tea break), and the second as an aspiration prayer at the very end of the protector offerings (after “Requesting the Desired Aims”).
Nekhor - Circling The Sacred
The Nekhor team has been traveling to and documenting sacred sites connected to Guru Rinpoche in India. This is in preparation for the Indian volume of a series of books on Padmasambava’s life and journey, with Nepal ready for release this Fall. More info can be found on http://www.nekhor.org/ and you can find pictures and reflections on their journey on Facebook and Instagram: @nekhorpilgrimage

Global Magnetizing Accumulation
Rinpoche has requested that all his students, and all who are inspired to do so, recite the Giant Cloud of Blessings, or Wang Dü magnetizing supplication as part of their daily practice. This supplication, composed by Ju Mipham Rinpoche, brings enormous benefit. He would like us as a global sangha to accumulate 1 million of these prayers annually!
Our grand total at the moment is 122,893 recitations.
For more information about Wang Dü, or to enter your own accumulation, go to Samye Institute with the link below:
