The activities of Kyabgön Phakchok Rinpoche

This month marked an auspicious event for the global sangha – the pilgrimage trip to Bhutan with Phakchok Rinpoche. The group contained about 80 people who connected and received blessings at sacred sites and temples throughout both Paro and Bhumthang, Bhutan.
Following that, Phakchok Rinpoche went to Rangjung Yeshe Austria and Denmark, to teach on the Ground, Path and Fruition. Rinpoche and Erric Solomon also began their Radically Happy Book Tour, starting in Germany-Austria, Denmark and then in the Netherlands. Next they will head off on a multi-city tour of the USA. Radically Happy will be available in bookstores on October 16th, 2018, but is available for pre-order today.
Also in September, Khenpo Gyaltsen visited and taught at Penthaly village in the Kavre district of Nepal.
We are very happy to announce the ninth annual Sādhana Ritual Course from 29 November - 22 December. This course will focus on the Trinley Nyingpo and Pema Khandro sādhana practices from the lineage of the New Treasures of Chokgyur Lingpa (Chokling Tersar). The main points of practice – including ritual traditions of chant melodies, mudrās, torma, shrine arrangements, and musical instruments – will be taught in Tibetan by Lama Sherab Dorje, a senior lama of Ka-nying Shedrub Ling monastery, and translated into English.

Sādhanā Ritual Course 2018
We are pleased to announce our ninth annual Sādhanā Ritual Course:
29 November - 22 December, 2018
This course will focus on the Trinley Nyingpo and Pema Khandro sādhanā practices from the lineage of the New Treasures of Chokgyur Lingpa (Chokling Tersar). The main points of practice – including ritual traditions of chant melodies, mudrās, torma, shrine arrangements, and musical instruments – will be taught in Tibetan by Lama Sherab Dorje, a senior lama of Ka-nying Shedrub Ling monastery, and translated into English.
Our objective is for non-Tibetan practitioners to be able to learn and practice the Vajrayāna ritual tradition in a genuine and thorough way.
The Tukdrup Trinley Nyingpo sādhanā (the Yoga of Essential Activity from Accomplishing the Guru’s Wisdom Mind, Dispeller of All Obstacles) and the Pema Khandro (from the Three Roots of the Profundity of Longevity Cycle) are both deeply profound practices that were revealed by the Great Treasure Revealer, Chokgyur Dechen Lingpa. The Trinley Nyingpo is the condensed sādhanā for the accomplishment of the twelve manifestations of Guru Rinpoche according to Accomplishing the Guru’s Wisdom Mind, Dispeller of all Obstacles (Tukdrup Barchey Künsel). The Pema Khandro is the magnetizing ḍākinī practice belonging to the Three Roots of the Profundity of Longevity Cycle, among the Seven Cycles of Profundity (Zabpa Khordün).
This course will be held at a Buddhist retreat center near Narayantan, Kathmandu. The necessary empowerments and reading transmissions for these practices will be given at the beginning of the course by Kyabgön Phakchok Rinpoche, possibly on Nov. 27, so please arrive in Kathmandu by Nov. 26.
Scholarships and concessions are available. Please email [email protected] or call / Whats App (+977) 981.863.0589 for more information.
The Nekhor Project
Dear Dharma friends near and far,
It is with great joy that, after four years of hard work, the labor of our team of intrepid researchers and pilgrims — dubbed “Nekhor” — finds its new home: the Nekhor website, dedicated to the sacred sites of Guru Rinpoche.
Nekhor’s vision is to connect people with the sacred sites of Padmasambhava — the forefather of Buddhism in Tibet.  By providing guidance through online resources, print publications, and on-the-ground expertise — we are dedicated to revitalizing and restoring the great holy places of Padmasambhava, the Lotus-Born Guru, so that today’s practitioners can follow in the footsteps of the past masters and bring their blessings onto their path.
If you are interested in learning more about this project please visit our new website: www.nekhor.org.
We are starting by presenting the Guru’s journey in Nepal, in line with the release of our first book “Following Your Footsteps – The Lotus-Born Guru in Nepal”. We will build upon this initial phase as time goes on, coming out with a series of books on all of the Guru’s main sites (including India and Tibet). We welcome your feedback and continued help in our mission!
In the meantime, follow us on Facebook: facebook.com/nekhorpilgrimage, on Instagram: @nekhorpilgrimage, or contact us at: [email protected].
Finally, a heartfelt thanks to all who have contributed to this project, in many ways large and small, over the years!
Wishing you well on your journey,
The Nekhor Team

VAJRAKILAYA RITUAL PHURBAS
These precious Vajrakilaya phurbas are made by the finest craftsman, in exact accordance to Chokgyur Lingpa’s revealed Vajrakilaya Tantra treasure, from nine kinds of metals, as prescribed by Padmasambhava. Furthermore, these phurbas incorporate numerous sublime blessings in the form of over three thousand relics, painstakingly collected and passed down through all schools of Tibetan Buddhism.
These phurbas, adorned with a black scarf, mustard seed, and frankincense, are famed for being able to prevent harm from spirits. Each phurba can effectively remove our outer, inner, and secret hindrances.
Once your kilaya dagger is consecrated, it should be regarded as Vajrakilaya in actuality and hence worthy of your respect and regular offerings. Therefore, please note that it is not permissible to put the phurba in your hand to play or use as weapon to harm any sentient beings. The easiest way to care for your phurba is to keep it upright in a phurba stand on your altar or on a shelf.
A phurba has different functions, namely :
  • Recitation phurba: Support for Vajrakilaya practice, to be kept on the shrine
  • Activity phurba: For performing various activities during development stage practice, e.g. liberation offering during feast (tsok) offerings.
  • Protection: For carrying around to protect oneself from harmful obstacles
Global Magnetizing Accumulation
Rinpoche has requested that all his students take up the magnetizing practice entitled “Giant Cloud of Blessings” as part of their daily practice. He would like us as a global sangha to accumulate 1 million of these prayers annually!
Our grand total at the moment is 81,167 recitations.
Click here to watch the video message from Rinpoche, read more about the practice and record your accumulations
