The special event is on July 19th, the birth month of Guru Rinpoche (the 6th month in the Tibetan calendar). Please find details and registration information below in the digest.

Moreover, the second volume in a three-part series, The Lotus-Born Guru in India, will be released this month (July 19th, 2021) via Rangjung Yeshe Publications.
Additionally, in this month’s digest, we update you on the newest translations from Lhasey Lotsawa Translations & Publications. And we also include information about the Dharani Blanket Set, which brings great benefit specifically for the recently deceased, featured by Akara Collection.

May all beings, in all realms, be happy, healthy, and safe! And may they have all that they need.”

Tsok Bum & Annual Puja: One Hundred-Thousand Tsok Offerings of the Spontaneous Fulfillment of Wishes Puja
Date: July 19 (July 18 in the Americas)
Time: 8:00–11:00 a.m. Nepal time
Please join us on Zoom on July 19 (July 18 in the Americas) in accumulating One Hundred-Thousand Tsok Offerings of the Spontaneous Fulfilment of Wishes (Tukdrup Sampa Lhündrup) Puja from The Guru’s Heart Practice. We will practice together with our monks who will be practicing at the Asura Cave Retreat Center in Nepal. Collectively, our monks, nuns, and lay sangha will accumulate a total of 100,000 repetitions of the Sampa Lhündrup Tsok offering prayer.
Sampa Lhündrup is a special manifestation of Guru Rinpoche, in which the Guru appears in a standing posture—ready to act—surrounded by his twelve emanations. In this form, the Guru grants the practitioners protection from all calamities. He guards us against conflict, disease, poverty, obstacle-makers, vicious animals, disturbances of the four natural elements, robbers, sudden death, the intermediate state, clinging to reality, and the sufferings of the six classes of beings. You can read more about the practice and register for the Zoom Meeting by following this link.
Teaching On The Bardos from Phakchok Rinpoche
Samye is happy to announce that Phakchok Rinpoche will teach on The Bardos on Sunday, July 24th, at 5:45pm, Nepal time. This teaching, on the full moon day of the monkey month, auspiciously coincides with the anniversary of the great master, Gampopa. It is an offering to all who are interested in learning how to experience a noble death. Rinpoche will teach on the six bardos and will address our general concerns on preparing for the moment death and what comes next. The teaching will occur on Zoom. We will share additional details about the teachings later in the month.

Lhasey Lotsawa Translations & Publications
Happy Dakini Day,
Lhasey Lotsawa is happy to share the following translations our team has been diligently working on over the past several weeks:
A brief devotional song invoking Chokgyur Dechen Lingpa, composed by Chokgyur Lingpa’s eldest son, Tersé Gyurmé Tsewang Drakpa.
A four line prayer invoking Kyapjé Tulku Urgyen Rinpoche, composed by Kyapjé Düdjom Rinpoche.
Chokgyur Lingpa gave this oral advice, explaining the source of permanent benefit and bliss, to his retinue and followers in Dzözhol Gyurme Ling.
Chokgyur Lingpa gave these instructions on what is to be adopted and abandoned on the path to his patrons.
We hope these translations will be of great benefit to your practice and all beings. May it be auspicious!
Global Magnetizing Accumulation
Rinpoche has requested that all of his students, and all who are inspired to do so, recite the Giant Cloud of Blessings, or Wang Dü magnetizing supplication as part of their daily practice. This supplication, composed by Ju Mipham Rinpoche, brings enormous benefit, especially during these times.
Remember, you can now track year-to-date totals of the Six Vajra Lines Supplication and the Giant Cloud of Blessings Magnetizing Prayer in addition to the grand totals. The yearly accumulator will be reset annually on Losar.

Please use this Registration Form to let us know if you’ll be able to join us. More details will be made available once we have an idea of the number of students.
For those who cannot attend on these dates, please be aware that we are also accepting reservations for personal retreats.
